Black Dog Pizzeria is a busy, independent neighborhood pizza shop built around ridiculously good food, a strong cohesive team, and doing things the right way. We work hard, move fast, help each other out, and take a lot of pride in what leaves our kitchen. Creativity, experimentation, and thinking outside the box is always appreciated at our shop!

Black Dog is a high-volume, fast-paced pizza shop where a LOT can happen at once. When the rush hits, our team communicates, stays organized, helps each other out, and keeps things moving without sacrificing the quality of our food or losing their cool.
You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be dependable, willing to learn, able to adapt, and ready to work as part of a team. Experience is always a positive, but we enjoy teaching our skill to new pizzaiolos and pizzaiolas, too.
We take our pizza seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Work hard, care about what you’re doing, be good to the people around you, and you’ll fit right in!

Black Dog isn’t a chain and we‘re not trying to be one. We’re a locally owned Columbus pizzeria with a small team and some pretty big goals.
We care about making genuinely and creative great pizza, supporting our community, celebrating local art, helping rescue dogs, and creating a place people are excited to come back to.
We’re proud of what we’ve built—and the people behind the counter and in the kitchen are a huge part of it! Most of our team have been with us a long time and our employee retention rate is pretty amazing.
